Orix Buffaloes outfielder Takahiro Okada hit a three-run homer and finished with four RBIs in a 7-4 come-from-behind victory over the Yomiuri Giants in a preseason game Friday.
Okada, who only went 1-for-6 in three games in his rookie season last year, had an RBI double in the seventh inning and his first home run of the spring broke a 4-4 tie in the eighth at Kyocera Dome.
Orix right-hander Atsuhiro Mitsuhara gave up four runs and nine hits in five innings.
Yomiuri lefty Tetsuya Utsumi also had a disappointing outing, allowing two runs on solo homers to Chad Allen and Greg LaRocca over five innings.
