READ THE MOTHER FUCKING DESCRIPTION FIRST!!
May you get ridiculed should you ask a question that was answered in the description.

Song: Murder City

This video is a demonstration on how to play "Murder City" from Green Day: Rock Band drums for educational purposes.

Great song and fun to play. The snare fills are about the only thing that makes this song any sort of hard. The Green Day: Rock Band fill soundset is pure joy to my ears, and I can only hope they have drum soundsets that sound that good on Rock Band 3.

I've been having hardware issues lately so it makes it hard to get FC's. I often have problems with my some of my cymbals (typically my non-Pintech cymbals) and I've had problems with my Destroyer pedal. This is partially why I haven't been making videos lately.

Now you ask, why keep using the cymbals? Because they make the game fun for me, and they're the only thing, I feel, that is keeping me relevant in the Rock Band community. I'm not that good of a RB drummer, especially compared to the elites. My use of cymbals is the only thing that makes me stand out from other RB drummers.

I also have Twitter now. Occasionally I post good scores so add me if you have it.

My IONS are set up fairly similar to that of a real drum set. I now currently use two different types of electronic cymbals. All three Ion cymbals I've had eventually broke. I use all cymbals as often as I can. Sometimes it's hard to tell whither I should it the pad or the cymbal, but I typically can tell which is which.

My Ride cymbal is a 12" CY-8 Roland Cymbal.

My Hi-Hat cymbal is a 14" TC Series Pintech cymbal.

My Crash cymbal is a 16" TC Series Pintech cymbal.

The song at the beginning is "Good Riddance (Time of Your Life)" by Green Day

I have too many friends, and I will not be accepting friend invites any more.

  • this was blocked yesterday and it's not today?

  • @binky390 I went through the dispute process to get it unblocked. There's a reason this video is categorized as educational.

  • nice set man! and good vid!

  • Hey Tyler. I can't help noticing that you look much more familiarized and comfortable with your Rock Band set up than your actual kit. You do great work on Rock Band, and I feel you have a lot of potential to play the real drums well. Post more videos of you on the REAL drums!

  • @TylerHausen oh well that answers that.
