Ganjo Mokeev (also known as Gary Olivas), performing musician in the virtual world of Second Life, is one of the subjects in the dissertation study of Deborah "Debe" Wise of the University of Colorado Denver. Wise's is entitled Life as Art: The Interplay of Real and Crafted Identities Among Virtually Performing Musicians in Second Life. The study uses her experience as Flameheart Sol, founder of the House of Flames live music venue in Second Life, to observe normal psychosocial development and subject-object orientation among musicians in the interdependence of real and virtual identities. @FlameheartSol I wish I'd been there. I love going to The Brick, but can't be on at that time very much now, so don't see Ganjo as often as I used :( I know what you mean though. Very difficult to keep still when he's bending his strings, especially if I'm up there with him, playing my drums. Lol.
