Bert Parks sings Let 'Em In during the 1976 Miss America telecast with male background dancers. This is the only "singing" performance that I find funnier than William Shatner's Rocket Man or Taxi.

    Bert was in his 60s at this point and I'm sure he couldn't believe that this song could be the hit is was, as so many of the older generation back then felt about popular music. He was actually quite good at singing and dancing after 40 year in show biz. He was smart enough not to try to do this act seriously, as some others of his era unsuccessfully did. Groan!
