I'm sure everything looks rosie from his gated community in palm beach and he will never need unemployment benefits, unlike the hard working folks that have lost their jobs. Work for 25 years, get laid off, and unemployment benefits are suddenly welfare and an incentive to not look for employment. Rush, you are this country's biggest jack-wagon. They did not extend the benefits to 2.5 years. No new tiers were added. Much of the uproar was from more recently unemployed when they were cut short sooner than expected. People who instead of a Christmas bonus/party were given the "I am sorry I have to let you go" speech.

It's tied to the unemployment rate, Rush. So if I'm unemployed and my state's unemployment rate drops below 9%, then my benefits stop.
