The East Coast Greenway Alliance and The New Jersey Bike & Walk Coalition with the participation of The Trenton Cycling Revolution and the West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance Celebrate Biking and Walking in New Jersey on the newly-constructed section of the D&R Canal Trail.
We rode 7 Miles in and 7 Miles out on a beautiful day - great weather, a myriad of cycling advocates and organizations, from JORBA to the DEP, legislators, mayors, families and friends joined in to make this celebration a huge success!
Hear Congressman Rush Holt speak about how long this project took, Assemblywoman Grace Spencer rode with us, spoke to the group and is an outstanding advocate for cycling and walking - we couldn't ask for better representation! Mike Kruimer of the East Coast Greenway Alliance also speaks to the group, Pat Blount, a Lawrence Township Council member speaks about this trail as well as the Lawrence-Hopewell Trail and Trenton Cycling Revolution's Matt Rawls was an awesome ride leader, keeping everyone safe and in order. All in all a terrific day!
