How could Salieri dictate all that...but not understand tonic-dominant with the trumpets/timpani? :-)

@mad313 - he doesn't understand because he can't hear it in his head the way Mozart can. I think it's supposed to point up the difference between genius and mere knowledge. At any rate, this scene is magnificent.
