I heard Richard sing this in a show live and up close, as well as the recording of Richard doing the song. I like Richard's version because it is about him. He's a man who wrote the script for his own life and made millions happy from his own sorrows.

Billy Dean is one of my all-time favorite singers, a man who truly had the charisma of Elvis and should have gone on and on in the music market. He is one of whom I would say, when he disappeared from the big music scene, "Here was a day the music died." And Billy has done this Reba song total justice. So much emotion. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Billy. It was so good to see him again.
