。いいですね。 thank you for uploding!

How interesting! They're using the layout that Elgar would have known - seconds on the right, basses at the back, with the cellos in the middle. Great to see it!

EXCELLENT, THANKS FOR POSTING, if anyone's interested this was the favorite symphony of T E Lawrence ( lawrence of arabia ) who wrote to Sir Edward to tell him this on 22/12/33. Alas Sir Edward died two months later.
any one notice Gustavo Dudamel behind the conductor at 2:14? It's gotta be him.

The orchestra lack finesse but makes up for it by the direction from Natalia Luis-Bassa who subsequently won the Elgar Society award for her interpretation of this symphony. In my view she is the best interpreter of this symphony since Sir Adrian Boult. Bolut's magical performance with the BBC Symphony Orchestra dating from 1944 remains unique. However Natalia Luis-Bassa given an opportunity to conduct the BBCSO would I am sure rival Boult. Go on Roger Wright give her a chance.

So, Let's do it. Go on and propose her to Mr Wright.
