I did this song 30 years ago. The gal has good chops, but but the whole song seems a bit rushed, if not mechanical. Lacks the real funk feel.

Very pro band ! Respect for doing the trickier live version at the end. It's totally obvious that the sound issue is due to the camera being overwhelmed. The singer smokes, and she looks fantastic !!

I have also seen MF big show and small show, actually met the band a few times, it's hard to tell how good this band and the girl really because quality is bad, just funny that there is very loud crowd noise edited into the video at the beginning.....

HA!!! People making sound/mix judgements from a video camera condenser mic below the stage and off center. That's priceless. Anyone that truly has any real useful knowledge on whether the sound at this was either there in person or knows to keep their mouths shut. The rest are morons.

@dadevi I think it is not easy to judge the sound, especially when the sound was recorded by camera microphone. The live sound was excellent!
