Golden Sun Dark Dawn No exp run Boss #6 Ice Queen

Whew did it on my second try.

Strategy: I guess I should say that a certain amount of luck is involved with bosses from now on depending on what attacks they decide to use and who they target. If this boss casts frostbite like she did on my 1st attempt, I'm pretty sure everyone except Amiti and Rief would die instantly whether bark is up or not.

I should also mention that my character positions are set up so that the weakest characters are on the far left and right. This is so that in case the boss casts a strong multi target attack, they would take the least damage from said attack and hopefully the 2 weakest characters don't die at the same time.

Now for setups. Amiti gets the elven shirt and zol ring for speed and fast healing. Matthew gets the Ixion Mail and Tyrell gets the Viking Helm to boost their Mercury resist so they have a better chance of surviving the hits. I try to keep Karis out of the fight as much as possible now because she is the most fragile. The rest of the djinn are placed for convenient summoning as Karis is switched out on turn 2.

seems like the only way u have a remote chance is without a doub to use summons. the last boss is going to be a biatch ;D with thoose two last battles. then again himi and eoleo might have a shot we the best weapons avilibel

@skyrander Yes summons are the only thing that will do decent damage as the game progresses. Regular attacks do next to nothing and I don't learn any stronger psynergy. The problem with later bosses is that 1 round of summons won't be enough to kill them so it's a matter of finding a way to survive long enough to unleash 2 or 3 rounds of summons.

watch your first clip TLA, at least u have a clear ide on how to survive when the battle starting to get out of hand.

I'll keep watching ur new videos kinda intresting consider that i do practacly the same thing. though only getting exp from the bosses and not use the heavyier summons only the ones who gives me a more stregi platform? :P
