@MA70Ed That was the point. I had a 1987 MA70 chassis with a W-58 5-speed, and it was a rally machine. But it was a tank: heavy and reliable.

MA70's are heavy and slow.
but i love mine! and it's SOOOO easy to slide around.
i'm currently setting aside part of my paycheck so i can get coils. lowering springs with blown struts just dont cut it anymore
-
I kind of wanted a MA70 when I bought this car but I didn't want the insurance prices to go with it. Although a MA70 might have been a little cheaper to build since it had coilovers avalible and I had to order my coil over for the cressida straight from japland.

that wasnt directed towards you, and if anything, people started following you!
trendsetter! :D

I started drifting my car in 2004. No bandwagon here.
-
people jumping on bandwagons. it's what's "IN" right now. just like the 240sx, which is now the new Civic, and the Cressidas are now the new 240sx.
quite sad really.
my car will never be a trend, and i'm quite happy about that.

I have a '91 cressida, and I have only seen maybe a half dozen other ones in my 20 years on this earth. I had no idea that people actually seek them out for stuff like this.

-

-
