This video was put to together by John and Rebbecca Lingo. They are my brother-in-law and his wife who both love Nate very much.
For those of you who do not know, our son Nathaniel was diagnosed as autistic at around 2 years old. He went from a bright and happy boy to a distant shadow of who he was. We entered a world where he would not smile or make any eye contact. Where he would sit in a corner and rock back and forth rather then play with any kids.
Rachel and I have been fighting back with a mixture of dietary restrictions, ABA educational tools, enzymes and recently the Son Rise Program.
He is doing great! We have seen our son go from screaming and banging his head at night to sleeping through the night. We have seen grunts turn into words and phrases.

When she first sent this to us, we both fell apart. One bonus was, at that point, Nate barely ever made any eye contact with us at all. It was like we didn't exist. But I guess red, watery eyes drew his attention. :) I got lots of eye contact that day.
How WONDERFUL to be greeted by a happy, communicative and engaging little man this morning. God is sooooo good to us!

This is a video JonBec Lingo put together for our Son Rise program. It communicates the loss, determination and hope we have experienced through this experience. Nate is truly a different little boy then when this was made over a year ago. This morning I was greeted with "Good morning Daddy! I love you, Daddy! Hey!"
