Primus Transforms - Stop-Motion

Primus, the creator of all Transformers, transforms from the TF homeworld of Cybertron to his robot form.

This was one of the hardest videos to make, due to all the different videos I had to save, and all the shots where it seems like the planet is floating. Also I tried to make all his movements slow, since he's a planet, but that was hard due to the ratchet joints.

All the backgrounds were done in paint by me, 7 in all (not counting the Earth pic). In some shots they're upside down, or with others so you can't tell it's the same thing over and over.

That was great but in terms of realism, since he's so large as an organism, i'd imagine his transforming to take longer, so in a stopmotion, i guess that translates to more frames.

@TheGreatArloMan Agreed. The thing is the figure has ratchet joints, which makes it very difficult to move his limbs in small increments.

@YRQRM0 how about an effect? I've seen those transitions where 2 frames kind of blend in to each other, maybe you can do that to give the illusion that the limbs are moving slowly. But if not, that's too bad, it would look so cool!
