  • She was one of a kind, not only for the voice but for her sensitivity, her articulate turn of phrase, her candour, and that wonderful sense of humour ('just don't compare me to Samantha Fox - she's got bigger titties than I do!') We miss you Dusty.

  • Dusty was a one off ! So very sad that she left us too soon.

    Thanks for the Dusty vids...

  • @piroschka6 Well, that's the 80's for you! :-s

  • @chrissydney that's what I thought she said! hahaha oh dusty!

  • LEGENDARY...she is quite a talent. One of the greatest soul singer there ever was!!!!

  • Oh God, do I love her! LMAO!

  • great woman, but she had better hairdos before this i m afraid...........

  • Modern woman...so elegant....so desireable...miss you Dusty....good find poster.

  • Just as human as anyone, likewise with others, she was so in touch with herself emotionally and enjoyed what she did, singing whole-heartedly. That's what made her so unique and stand apart from everyone else. I totally agree.

  • @CrankCase08 True, however it is and always should be about the music alone. She was human as anyone else but, I am sure you agree, she was one of a kind. These videos are great. Who do you enjoy muscially , besides Dusty?

  • "just don't compare me with Samantha, she's got bigger titties than I do..."

    LOL!!!!!!

THAT'S how a star finishes an interview.

I love these interviews after her comeback. I don't know how close she came to finding true happiness, but here you can sense she's found a balance. After such a stretch of (unfair) commercial disappointment, this was a woman back in the spotlight. A #2 hit on both sides of the pond. That old swagger and confidence from the 60's was back.
