Emulater 2 mostly by Alan Wilder...Gore:Yamaha DX7, Fletcher:Oberhiem OBA, but I'm sure during the studio mostly Emulater 2 and perhaps Syncalvier, but from Keyboard player interviews of that time Alan Wilder did not mention Synclavier. Anyone:I'm one Facebook...friend me Steven Webb, Atlanta, Ga...Much love!!

  • I Agree with you completely fnj006...Been into Depeche since '83...genius...NO ONE WAS DOING THIS in 1983

  • Martin Gore is the greatest electronic/"industrial" composer of all time. Such a talented, great catalog. I'm so glad he and other great composers like Brian Wilson, Sting, Flea/Kiedis, Jagger/Richards, McCartney, Robert Smith, Bono/Edge and Stevie Wonder got their happy ending and are very appreciated in their time.

  • i bought this album on release 83 and still play it regularly,it's totally unique, credits never stated equipment used in recording, they were fans of the emulator & emulator 2,did they use the synclavier?.
