Every time a Christian - born again or not - leaves his faith, someone will imply that the former Christian wasn't a *true* Christian to begin with.

The best thing about YouTube is that you meet many of the authors and so called scholars. I only wish I had found this video 2 years ago -it would have saved me $25.99 as I wouldn't have bought his book "Jesus, interrupted". The book is descriptive but the author alternatively uses, misues and ignores the basic concepts of the two natures displayed by Jesus and that the whole point of religion is to uphold a few moral ideals.Rather he rejoices at finding the discrepancies in the trivial

Revelation 17: The whore of Babylon riding the beast and the 7 heads representing 7 kingdoms;5 past (Assyria, Babylon, Egypt, Persia, Greece) and one was "now" (Rome) and the next is yet to come. Only those that beleived that Rome would be taken over by a powerful empire that would control all its territories would conclude that the end was near.
