STOP THE TRAFFIK is a global movement of ordinary activists from around the world who believe that people should not be bought and sold. They believe that when people act, things change.

One Million to STOP THE TRAFFIK, the latest play from internationally acclaimed OYT, tells the amazing story of the development of this global movement. Using the words of Phill Lane (co-founder of STOP THE TRAFFIK) and testimony from trafficked people from around the world, it explores some of the stories which inspired the birth of the movement.

It reveals their determination to get the one million signatures they promised which would enable them to go the United Nations and call on goverments to fight traffiking.

Over the last 20 years, OYT has recieved invitations to perform at the Royan National Theatre (London) and National Student Drama Festival, and two years ago won the All England Theatre Festival Youth Award with their performance of Graham- World's Fastest Blind Runner.

They have also toured the USA and France. Last year OYT made a DVD of extracts from their work over the years (including an early version of the first scene from this play). It was deemed to be one of the highlights of the DVD.

One million to STOP THE TRAFFIK promises to be OYT'S most increbible play to date.
