The germans don't feel comfortable making them read exactly, so they read high.

German speedometers are required by law to read high.
6500rpm in 6th is between 160-165mph
175mph is the drag limited top speed of a stock E46 M3.

@DavidKneiber can someone tell this boy that it will do 180 im telling you i know boys with m3s tehre simarlians or how ever you spell it and they got a few e30s and a red e46 m3 and he had a yellow e36 m3 and they sold it not long ago there buying and selling all the time because they get the money from dogdey deals obviously but yes it can do because i go out with them all the time they put a limited slip diff on one of the e36s they had it was a 328i sport and he was drifting it with me in it
