Vintage trams in Blackpool, with English commentary

There is a coastal resort in Great Britain which attracts young party people as well as tram fans. It is the coastal resort of Blackpool near Liverpool. Since 1885 one of the oldest electric trams in the world has been running directly along the British coast. These beautiful trams can be admired nowhere else. If you have not seen them yet, you will have to hurry, as a replacement in the form of a modern Flexity is imminent. Only in Blackpool can you ride a double-deckered Balloon Car or an open Boat Car.

On the occasion of the 125 year jubilee of the tram in 2010, many more historical railcars were brought to Blackpool's tram line to transport the many passengers in the beautiful sunshine.
Whether Balloon Cars, Twin Cars, Brush Cars or Centenary Cars, you will see all the railcars in the film. The highlight is "The Illumination Show" when Blackpool and all the trams are lit up for the special occasion.
