I wonder if Flux Power is using the LiFeP04 batteries in their just released lithium battery upgrade kit for the EV? I have had my EV since April of last year and love it. But would definitely like to get more life out of the batteries. How much do you think putting these LiFeP04 batteries into the EV would cost?

@KsuJon from their web site fluxpwr-dot-com they seem to only have lifep04 batteries. From news found at fortmilltimes-dot-com they are talking about 8, 9.6, 16, and 19.2KWh kits. I don't know the price but my guess would be around 3,000$ for a 9.6 KWh kit knowing the average price of lifep04 batteries on the market today. This kit is the closest to the stock pack (11.2KWh) and since it is lighter and can be discharged further it would be the equivalent. Thanks for the hint!

Hi. Your Ranger looks awesome. I have some questions. Could you please answer them? Does it still work like new? Are there any problems with batteries, motor or something else? How many hours do you have on it? What is your average range on single charge? Thanks.

@gorodph; Yes it still work like new, absolutely no problems. - After 47 charges, the batteries are actually a bit stronger like stated in the owner manual. I did add some demineralized water once to keep level as required but thats normal for flooded batteries if you want them to last. - I only do short rides and that kills a bit my average, but after 47 rides it's 30km in really mixed conditions and the actual average runtime is 3.5 hours of continuous use. Thanks

@sycotuning In future, with a LiFePO4 battery pack the Ranger EV will be the ultimate electric hardworking vehicle for farmers, hunters etc. Just imagine this fantastic machine with range up to 100km on single charge and a battery pack with life of 2000+ charging cycles. You know, this is easily achievable today but the LiFePO4 battery pack costs more... I wish you many many more problem-free kilometers with your Ranger EV and PLEASE... make more videos (with Ranger in action :)).
