@Pixel1984 Just open the FSX and the freetrack, but mark the box "SimConnect-FSX" on the "Output" tab.
you will need 3 or 4 led's (RED or IR, i don't know which is better...) and mount a cap or a headset.

@TDVRecon hey, how much do you have to do to get the Freetrack program to work with the TrackIR clip? I need to get a webcam right? if so, any webcam should work fine right?
also, what would the game support be like, compared to me actually getting the TrackIR kit? no difference? thnx :-)

Go with freetrack. It's free. And all you should have to pay for is the Track IR Clip if your too lazy to make one yourself.

I bought this app for FSX and it doesn't work properly. Many hours of calibrating and no results. Forget about it and go for a professional TrackIR. Iwanted to spare money but as usual it will cost me more at the end
