The point is that the safety system that was designed in the reactor was shut down, no was was injured or killed, no radiation escaped because we designed it that way, but keep living in fear, but keep ignoring the facts keep promoting Big Green Industry of useless solar and wind power.

Lisa Murkowski, the featured senator, just blocked a vote in the Senate using the filibuster to raise BP's liability cap form 75 million to 10 billion. I guess she found her true love. Congrats to Lisa and Jeff from BP! We should all be so lucky.

It was nice too, that over the past eight years, Big Oil gave Lisa $400,000 to help her get elected. Let's see, 10 billion - 75 million divided by 400,000. That is ROI of 24,000%!! Buying a politician = Best investment ever!!

No accidents... What do you call Three Mile Island? Granted the containment vessel didn't get compromised like in Chernobyl but the #2 reactor still totally melted down thanks to a coolant system failure. The bottom line is you will have accidents (we've had many near misses before and since three mile island), even if you only have them once every 100 years. With nuclear the effects of an accident last for thousands of years, making it undesirable as a massive form of power.
