@TigerakaTila Well, i guess, technically, its Boktai 4 "What if" because as far as i understand, it can only happen if Django hadn't escaped the sealed prison.

@TigerakaTila yes...oh and the fact san miguel and some other place in the original boktai was covered in lava or frozen in ice.... and sabata's or in the us lucians weps... those are all the refrences ....wait oh yea the broken dark gun and broken gundelsol.... yep that shuld be it.

I KNOW what Lunar Knights is. You don't need to (attempt to) further explain.
besides, it is NOT a direct sequel, and thus I refuse to call it "boktai 3" or "boktai 4"
it is merely a spiritual sequel. Similar system and feel, but a completely new setting/timeline
the only true link I know of it compared to the original series is that Trinity ( mentioned to be Aaron's deceased father) may be the same as the young boy from the future that was in 3.
