Shiba Inus are great, but some owners claim that their Shiba is almost cat-like because it's so independent. Shibas are another breed that are sometimes known as escape artists, so if you don't have a high fence or a place where you can take them to exercise, it may not be the dog for you. But not all dogs are the same, so if you get your dog from a breeder, make sure to inquire abuot the parents. This is based off of info that I got through research, when I was trying to pick one myself. :)

Along with her appearance and behavior I love her name so much!! :) Sorry if i'm wrong, but did you actually name her after the Japanese word "Suki" meaning "to like (or to love)"???

@manamagician Yes they are very easy to housetrain.My shiba inu and his friends do well at their housetraining.

I never thought about my shiba inu Tenjee being that little when he was young.We adopted him when he was four years old!

She is so cute! I also have shiba named suki. she is now about 2 years old, but she still looks very young. Shibas are great dogs!

@lessthan3luv you are right!! Mine comes from a verry good breeder Yama no Kami (Belgium) She gave me a lot of information... So now in 4 weeks I'm a happy Shiba owner. waited for like a year and a half to have one.
