This song reminds me why i was a Mariah Carey fan since the age of 10. I remember when I first got the Butterfly album. I was 12. I never had a normal family life and till this day, i carry the weight of my family's emotional stress. Hearing this song 15 years later still makes me cry. It's probably the only song that really touches a deep part of me and describes emotions that I can't articulate.

I was hanging from one hand, about to fall, but she pulled me back up again. She, being my carbon copy, my literal other half and the only person who can and maybe ever will truly understand me. If she hand't been there, I would have finally let go, and forever would be trying to find my way up again to no avail. But now we're stronger. She is the most amazing person - incredible, wise, beautiful, fearless. The one person I know will alway be there. And she's saved me.

I remember when this album came out in September 1997. I had just turned 12 and this album was my birthday present from my mom. When I first hear this song, I balled my eyes out because my home life was so unstable at the time. I couldn't get enough of this song. I hadn't heard it since I was 14...10 years!!! and when i heard it today it just made me see how much I have grown from that day when I first heard it. Thank you for making such a beautiful video!!!
