The world's first overclocking device via USB. This is an overview created by Tuan from Zotac. You can overclock any Zotac graphics cards (and motherboards) on the fly. If you push it too high, the graphics may corrupt, but you can simply downclock again and recover while in game!

  • Great question thanks! The Nitro will only work with NVIDIA cards, others such as Intel and ATI are not supported.

  • Ah. Thank you

do you know of any devices that would? I have a macbook *head desk*

  • I wouldn't go near overclocking laptop graphics, but that said I know it's possible with the ATI graphics some Macs have, and the same with ones featuring NVIDIA, but Intel - never seen anything, and I can't imagine it'd help much too ;)

  • Zotac quotes a possible 30% overclocking with the Nitro (depending on the card) Software is capable of just half that! - remember if you're in windows, you're not overclocking the game, the graphics environment is completely different!

  • With software you have to keep quitting the game and restarting to test new clocks. The Nitro lets you clock on the fly, even during the game. If you clock too high the graphics may corrupt - simply downclock a little and the system will recover. Pretty cool huh!

  • "You can overclock any Zotac graphics cards (and motherboards) on the fly." does this mean it only works on those and not others, for example the X3100?
