too many whining people about the gentleman been cruel and this and that...
the average joe wouldn't hesitate to kill this rodent, yet alone hit it to get rid of it..
the fact this kid gave his time and mercy to get rid of this animal with patience should be more than enough.. i would have given it two options.. pitchfork or lead!!!

Firstly, great job returning this guy to the wild....However....They will NOT attack you unless they are cornered or protecting their young.

it amazes me that it was tolerable enough to let you touch it and not lash out at you

@MsLovee55 Sorry, don't take it personal, Merry Christmas!

Actually it is more than spic and span. Just that I can't stand seeing messy stuff or people. SOrry if it got you upset. End of negative comments. What is good with you? Hope you have a good Christmas.

I can see how the possum had a nest, these people are dirty an negligent. Stuff all over the floor like a winos house.

rabies??!!
@truthrants they indeed have prehensile tails but they don't hang by them. They are very strong and used for balance, holding on while lowering themselves down a tree but not hanging. If you look up this question you'll find no photo's other than the movie bambi or cartoons. It's a myth. It's never humane to hold anything not born to support their weight by their tails. This is fact and documented in many studies on the Virginia Opossum.
