Benny just sets such a high standard of excellence. What a phenomenal musician.

I am talking about his arms waving. Being a bassplayer (big bands), we always hated conducters, since drummer or me could kick band off any time.
Of course in studio it was sometimes needed, but shit - everybody was a sight reader, could see pp or forte - so why conduct?
All you need is to say: One Two, One Two Three - - -
