What really happens when you use freecreditreport.com?

This was for a contest to either cover one of the songs from the commercials or write your own jingle. Being that this isn't very flattering to the website, I bet I won't win. :)

Here are the lyrics, by request:

I thought that I should check my score at freecreditreport.com
after seeing that guy explain to me all the things that could go wrong
but I didn't read the fine print and when a bunch of time went by
I saw that every month they'd charged my card about $14.95

so now I'm back in debt, that's what I get for thinking it was free
and even now my pet turtle just can't stand the site of me

I can't afford expensive drinks so cheap ones will suffice
but now I'm all hung over after drinking Natty Ice
online everyone's un-friended me, even that guy Tom
all because most of my money went to freecreditreport.com

so now I'm back in debt, that's what I get for thinking it was free
I didn't know it's legal to intentionally mislead

my lights have been shut off and my sink has now run dry
and all that's left to do is sit alone in the dark and cry
I had a house and family, but now everything is gone
so my life's completely ruined by freecreditreport.com

Well smartass, if you use your brain...they ask you for your credit card before you even sign up to get your credit report...so obviously that is a big sign right there that you'll be charged. And it's obvious that you are one of many idiots who accept terms and conditions without reading so that would explain why you didn't know about the 7 day trial. It's actually a credit monitoring membership and is very helpful if you are trying to get your credit score up. Go drink some more beer loser

@Jenessifer Thanks you for your well thought and constructive critiques. I should point out that it is not actually a true story, but a parody video made for a contest. However something that has the word free in its title and then requiring a monthly charge is very misleading. Also I feel like I should point out that your use of ellipses where a comma should go makes you look like a cunt. Again thank you for your comment.

We have bad credit and got a loan with fastcashvegas com without any problems, but they actually link to installment loans which for us was better than most payday loans!
