  • Take 20 lbs of metal, add 10 lbs of welding wire. Sand off 6 lbs to find the mistakes and add more wire as necessary.

    Or from the auto restoration folks... Bondo and paint makes it what it an't!

  • Thank you. It has been a wonderful learning experience teaching myself to weld and shape metal. The added bonus of making things that give people pleasure is just the gravy.

  • I like the way that you make welding a part of what you do and not the end in its self. The project becomes the object of interest and the welding is a way to get there.
