@FunWithFungus666 I got your msg and replied. Just remember it is the food chain. Just because this snake eats lizards, it's not a bad pet to have.Almost all reptiles are predators, they just have different prey. To love a reptile is to respect what it eats whether you like it or not.I don't "like" feeding the gecko but I have no choice. This video is to educate ppl about these snakes. In the future it would be wise to read the title before watching so you don't watch something that upsets you

Its funny how people have no remorse feeding live mamals yet they do for this gecko.Yes I feel bad,I am a reptile lover, yet I know about the Asian vine snake and what they eat.People, grow up and educate yourselves before harassing this woman.I've been watching her for a long time and she is an amazing and knowledgable keeper. She's not feeding this gecko for entertainment ,it is what they eat even in captivity.Sad if your a reptile lover like me but I'd do the same if I kept one.Not a choice.

This is wild! I've seen photos of these and always thought the checkered ones were prettier than the solid green ones. I had no idea they could change colors and are the same snake! That's so neat! Thanks for teaching me something today.
these are cool, i might get one couple years from now, i like to do a lot of research before getting certain reptiles... any tips? like on handling, housing, etc?

@edjorthebeast They need a lot of humidity or they have shed issues, they dont drink from a bowl & onnly drink water droplets when misted or using a dripper. They eat 2-4 lizards a week. Pretty docile, they would run before trying to bite & tame easy with gentle handling. They are however, mildly venomous & care should be taken to avoid being bitten in case you would be sensitive to it. They are aboreal so they need tall cages & lots of branches & vines/plants.

can you hold the vine snake
julian5614life 7 months ago
@julian5614life Yes, she is nice. I wouldnt try holding one if youre allergic to bees or other bug bites. Vine snakes have mild venom that does not kill normal ppl but if you have allergy maybe it could? Idk.
