The Zimbabwe Diaspora Focus Group (ZDFG), the umbrella forum for UK based Zimbabwean organisations reports on the Rising Zimbabwe Investment Conference hosted by Country Factor at the May Fair Hotel in London (3 December 2010)
I liven in Rhodesia and it was a land of milk and honey. Rhodesia exported a lot of food to other African countries. Everyone had a roof over their head and everyone ate. Rhodesia had a wonderful well funded education system under Ian Smith and there was full employment. Unfortunatly the British left arranged a phoney election and put a dictator in power who they knew had thousands of bodies buried from his ethnic cleansing in his home district. The rest is history.
