  • Thanks so much for this. I plan on making some for wedding favors:-)

  • You're welcome! Good luck!

  • So glad that the video was helpful! I hope you had success in making these. They're always a hit here. I used to make these on an electric stove and it did take 10 minutes to cook, but with the gas stove, it takes much less time to cook - about 5 minutes. I forgot about that when I made the video so they came out a little stiff.

My dad requested that I make some with cashews once and those turned out good too.

  • Can I make this over a double boiler? I can't find a glass pot anywhere. This video is so helpful. I'm going to try these for Christmas!

  • Sorry that I didn't get back to you any sooner. I think that would be fine. I made them in the glass pot because it is the right size and I try to use the healthiest cookware. I thought this would be better than stainless. The recipe called for a heavy pot.

  • i made it,. worked great. you gotta really stir it and let it sit while very hot for the 10 mi nute sitting stage,. to release all the pecan oils,. its a great recipe,. ill try it with heavy cream!

  • why do ppl say pray-line?its praw-line

  • To prevent the butter to separate completely into fat and water . The pecans are added later to prevent them from getting boiled and absorbing too much moisture

  • I've watched many prailine videos and I noticed that the butter always added last... and also the pecans are added at the boiling stage... why in that order if u don't mind me asking....

  • i was making some and it fell on my hand omg i was in pain for about 8hrs no lie. that stuff burns

  • Praw-lean not pray-lean.
