I am continually amazed at how a discussion of anything on the net can degenerate into name calling. geez, chill out!

@jondeak Wow! You are really dumb. I done my driveway like this several years ago and I've had no problems with it at all. We hillbillies can only dream that one day people like you could have one tenth the brain we hillbillies have. We can only dream!

@broham776 re: "...what is the grid made up of hdpe? or pet plastic?"
Neither polymer is appropriate for vehicular traffic surfaces (rigidity = weakness; flexibility = durability + strength).
We use a proprietary formula: 100% post-consumer recycled plastics, harvested from the waste stream, refined, etc. This technology is not available in the USA at this time. A NA reclamation+refinement/purification+regranulation+production plant at this time. Why do you ask?

whereas ignorance is bliss, right?
Perhaps in your spare time you could get into rocket surgery. Do you have any idea what you are talking about? ~mark

What does the grid add to the basic idea of a gravel road ? faster draining ? The first shots of green parking spots seems interesting for those light use parking needs.

First of all, gravel roads do not drain at all - they are impervious structures. Second of all, a gravel road is not permanent, unless you like driving on potholes and ruts for a few years until your gravel road disappears.
Third of all, did you see the loaded dumptruck driving on top of the exposed grids? There is not other geogrid, made anywhere in the world, which can do this. period. All the knockoffs and replicas and 'five dollar Rolex' imitation junk shatters like glass in typical uses.
