  • Hi....is this e-wrap the same method they show you on the pattern for the hat that comes with the Knifty Knitter? I just got one of these looms and wanted to make a scarf and found a pattern that says do the e-wrap but wasn't sure what that meant. Thanks I appreciate your video.

  • @stonerhythms yes, it is. you're basically just looping around each peg from behind. If you were to look at the loop from the peg side, it's like each peg has a little letter e of yarn around it.

  • r u listening to mithbusters in the backround?

    lol my fav show

  • LOL I love them too! It's very possible that was on. Grant and Adam are on Twitter, did you know? @grantimihara and @donttrythis

  • the little tool is called a loop lifter and comes with a Knifty Knitter multi-loom package.

  • it's called e-wrapping because your loop of yarn is vaguely like a small letter "e". If you'll note off to the right there, PurlingSprite produces some GREAT vids about the techniques. I mainly made this so a friend a few states away could see me do this.

  • outher way

  • I renewed my interest in knitting after reading loomknittingnow (.) com

  • Looms are great for when I want something relaxing. ;_; Regular knitting may produce some really pretty stuff, but omg the arthritis in my hands, & the stress cables & lace can cause! (I'm not meaning to scare anyone away from learning. It is totally worth it, I just don't want to lie & claim it's similar to meditating.) Still, any kind of knitting, needles or looms, gets really expensive after a while, and a yarn stash seems to overtake the house. o_O

  • Thx for share this. I was turning crazy looking for E-wrap, I thought was other kind of stitch. I hope see your looms works soon ;)
