2nd of 3 tribute videos of my late father.
Fortunately, I had converted old 8 millimeter family film (no audio in those days) to VHS tape in 1993. It dated back to May 1963 when dad bought the camera. In May 1963, Dad was 28, Mom was 27, I was 3 and Mark was 1. Kristi was born in October of '63. And then last year I converted all the aforementioned VHS tape plus the newer family VHS tape they had recorded using a new video camera they bought in early 1987 when Drew was born to digital format on the computer hard drive. It took me many, many hours to download it all. I'm so glad I did. So I spent most of last Friday, Saturday and part of Sunday morning preparing a video tribute of his adult life that was played in a continuous loop on a huge television above his open casket there at the funeral home. It was very therapeutic for me to edit and compile this footage.
