@BolshevikCephalopod Yea. They are as intelligent as man's best friend, the dog. They can actually open a jar, without being taught to (if their physical capabilities allow them). They also have been known to climb out of their fish tanks while their owners are away or asleep, and climb into any other fish tanks, and eat the smaller fish. After that, they go back in their original tank.. They can be devious, but cute.

It's unfortunate that this octopus is probably dead, already. They live such short lives, yet so intelligent. The maximum lifespan is about 3-4 years, but they typically only range from 1- 2 years of age, on average.
