Now what would Lucy Ricardo be without Viv's brilliant playing of best friend Ethel?. A very underrated performer, she had personality plus!

Has anyone else ever noticed that in a couple of episodes of I love lucy fred refers to Ethel as "Ethel Louise", but when she returned to her hometown to do her show the whole town refered to her as "Ethel Mae"??

OUTSTANDING! I believe that Lucille Ball knew....what she had in Vivian Vance. When Viv passed, Lucy was destroyed. I wish that Vivian would have made a cd....(oops, a record). WHAT A VOICE SHE HAD!! Wasn't the photo at 1:17 used in an I Love Lucy episode? When they visit Ethel's childhood home and Lucy holds up a picture and says: "Ethel! Is this you?" Or am I confusing it with something else?
