Their meeting and romance are now part of the Universal Pictures rescue adventure film "Big Miracle," which stars Drew Barrymore and John Krasinski. Based on real life events that happened in 1988, the film chronicles the effort to save three trapped grey whales - which brought together environmentalists, the US government, Alaska natives, the US military, the media, industry, and the Soviet Union. Interview by Barbara Harrison with NBC Channel 4. Footage courtesy of WRC-TV NBC 4.
