People are also having to do meat production jobs to be able to earn money, because in the current system they find no other ways to survive. Often the animals are kept in bad living circumstances because there is no money to do it otherwise.

  • Thank you, SpamAnn

do you actually eat spam, sometimes ? :-P

  • no lol, i dont eat meat, i chose my nickname just because i read some spam polacies on the youtube site lol

  • Raised a vegetarian, been a vegetarian my entire life. I stay a vegetarian because of many of the things you mentioned in the video. I disagree with the meat industry. However, I am a strong supporter for people who kill their own food. We have to be "self Honest" about who we are and what we need. Plants have a consciousness also and for us to live, something must die. We have centralized the food industry which is wrong but that doesn't mean that meat "itself" is wrong.

  • yes, but more plants have tobe killed to feed a meat eater because of the huge amounts of plants the farm animals get fed to grow them big.

  • I like your video, your heart is in the right place. However, one could say that personal consumption system supports world wide poverty as well. If it's so important why dont we empty our cupboards and give it all to the poor? "there will always be poor, pathetically struggling, look at the good things you've got" JC SuperStar

  • Because giving to the poor doenst help anything. it has been proven the problem even gets worse over the years, same with slavery, it has gotten worse. To change this we have to change the system. if the system remains the way it is, poverty will remain, no matter how much we try to bring them food. I am not ignoring the truth just so I can feel good about the apparant "good" things. I choose not to live in ignorance
