  • Shawn, just wondering, hows your buddy Neal in the video doing? Has he made any progress in his golf swing? A tip from one of your other videos about feeling the weight staying on the left side during the backswing was what put it all together for me! I think it stopped me from swaying back in the backswing. Thanks again for your dedication.

  • @tsmith109 Neal is doing great! Low 80's now and getting mentally stronger! Thanks for your comment and kind words! Shawn

  • Hi Shawn, I find that when I do this braced tilt, I tend to pull hook the ball a fair bit. Would this be because the ball position is too far back? Or that Im losing the spine angle/tilt? Thanks for your videos they have taught me heaps. I especially like the short game vids. I have never chipped with so much confidence! I just gotta get my driving sorted out now!

  • @teaseler Ball back no; loosing spine angle yes but why? Because the focus to the target has been compromised by improper perception; see "golf pro lesson tilted spiral" part 1, 2 and 3; especially 3 for your case;

    And you are welcome to come discuss with us on the forum! Shawn

  • hi shawn, when i make my backswing, my left knee has to collapse a little bit to be able to get more hip turn....This collapsing makes me loosing the feel of the braced tilt to the left side....so it's hard to get back to this braced feeling in the downswing, any tips on this one? snookie.

  • @147snookie Master the feet together and one leg drills first; then get busy with the step drills to get the timing and tempo of the swing; then you can put it together with the left heel coming off the ground in the backswing and feeling that nice plant to complete the backswing like in the "downswing weightshift; Shawn Clement" video;

  • Also, at address, everything is set up to in line with the target appart from my shoulders. My swing is also only off plane till about half way back, the rest is all on plane

  • Hey shawn, I use the brace tilt all the time now and its going great however when I 'brace' I tend to close my shoulders at address, causing the club to come back a little flat which, causes a nice little draw (I'm not complaining!) Does this really matter, or should I try to correct it??

  • as much as i enjoy 'stop crashing' i think this is prob best clemshaw vid! just this set-up gives you a fighting chance!
