Yeah, maybe. They sold out and went all breed though. And they register the Whopper dogs (Whopper was a Dogue de Bordeaux/AmBull mix) and all. I think the AADR would be a better choice.
Certainly not by HSUS. I can't figure out where they stand on pitbulls - one minute they are abolutely prejudiced, and the next they are portraying them as innocent.
As for who should educate, maybe it could be given to the ADBA to do. Anyone wanting to own an APBT would have to get some kind of chip from them, proving they knew what the fuck they were doing!!!
I agree but then by whom? The HSUS who says they have to be "trained" to fight leaving people with the idea that they are fine with all dogs? I'm guessing that is who the government would turn to for this. Unless we can find a way for it to be done right, I see it causing even more problems. :(
I noticed the same - it usually starts with the dog going after another dog. Something has gotta be done about who can own this dog, and under what circumstances. I think some kind of breed education should be mandatory.
Yep. More that pit bull attacks on lone humans I see pit bull attacks dog being walked and owner gets bit trying to get the dog off. That is not fair at all. WAY too may people own this breed that shouldn't.
I agree with that. In every case, it was usually multiple dogs who were poorly supervised or poorly contained. There was just a case in TN where the guy was told he had to keep the dogs in a kennel. You should have seen the kennel - it wouldn't have held a poodle, let alone 2 pitbulls. Of course, they knocked it down.
That is 100% true, also from "the horses mouth". :( He went blind while breeding as well. Also, sometimes during the keep. Most anything that required cardiovascular. He was not just blind all the time. When he was set it the box, he could see. Matter of fact, his name was Billy. He became "Blind Billy" long after birth.
I totally agree with the cur. It does not mean that pet people shouldn't own them, it means there are too many irrisponsible owners. They don't belong on quick-e-clip collars, they don't belong alone with other dogs, they don't belong unsupervised in chain link fencing. An APBT staying behind a fence is only doing so because he chooses to. I constantly see stories of dogs jumping the fence and attacking other dogs. If these people were responsible owners, we wouldn't have this issue.
That is not true. It comes straight from the horses mouth. Although he was blind Billy was matched and gave an excellent accounting of himself. On his scratches he located the other dog by utilizing his sense of smell. He lost one match because his nose had been chewed on and he was counted out while searching the pit for his opponent.
Floyd Boudreaux's Boze, but Blind Billy was his favorite. Billy was blind and was put in the pit anyway. He had use his sense of smell to find the other dog. Sick indeed!
I'll say it again - who needs HSUS to badmouth dogfighting when we have videos like this? You portray these dogs as snarling monsters and then you wonder why most people want them banned? What's the matter with you?
now this is what made bulldog's what they are today very nice vid..

I agree. The snarling photos are not needed where the APBT is right now.

lol. "Earn their keep" like they are doing that from fighting dogs? You're funny. That's why they have jobs, right?

Blind Billy was not blind when he was put in the box. Due to an issue with blood pressure, he went TEMPORARILY blind later in the fight.
