Hans Poulsen - Boom Sha La La Lo

Here's a little backstory....

As you know, Hans suffered both cancer and a stroke. Many of the "new" songs he recorded, such as "Strangers In Paradise" with Genevieve Lemon (you'l remember the song from 50 First Dates and her from Mermaids, Prisoner, and a 2007 Spicks and Specks episode on Channel 2) he laid down just before his stroke.

Though being bulletproof due to his life's philosophy, his health is still failing, but his mind and humour are still extremely quick. He is now living in Box Hill under care. Many of his works like sheet music were lost in the move, but due to the quick thinking of his friend Len Hayward, most of the masters (and albums he sold privately) were saved, and we're attempting to get these back into circulation for his old and new fans.

Yes, the rumours are true., he does have a daughter... who currntly lives in the United States.

Hi, may i ask if you have his permission to upload these and to sell his music? It is my understanding that he wants to keep his life private?

I myself agree with everyone here, his music still inspires and should be out there for the world to rediscover but I would also want to respect his wishes..

i'm from romania. and i can't seem to find any of his songs... but i love "There's A Light Across The Valley" .... but the only version i could find was rather bad... :/ do you have another version of that?

This song takes me right back to being a kid,sitting in front of the valve radio listening to it on AM stations 3MP,3KZ,3DB,etc.Fortunately I have this song on a double cassette,which also has "Old Man Emu" by John Williamson.Classic music from a simpler age.
