The eleventh installment of my original series, "Discovering Religion". In this episode I trace the journey of human evolution, from 3 million years ago to present day.

Note: Much of the information as well as video in this episode comes from other sources. It was not my desire to plagiarize or infringe on anyone's original material. My goal is to condense and simplify the great wealth of information that exists on human evolution into a format suitable for the youtube audience.

  • @rpk58 Of coursewe cant mate with apes today that I know of, just like the horse, donkey and mule which is sterill but if scientist put humans in lab with apes and breeded them naturally and a successful mate occured then how would it look, and how intelligent would it be, Man proably done that a few thousand years ago and thats why some animals look like us toay.It didnt take millions of years, You have to first prove the world is that old, and it's not.

  • @rpk58 Oh boy, It dosent stand on its own!! Be careful cause atheist will use the changes within a speciesto justiy their disbelief in God, a pretty slick move.but I get your point, but the question we should be asking is how long does it take for these changes to take place?

Remember that this video is based on afew bone fragments and about 90% imagination, but I think humans mated with animals a few thousand yrs ago and apes are simply the less intelligent offsprings.

  • @JaayNabi But not only Neandertaler and Homo sapiens evolved from the Homo erectus, but also all other kind of humans like east Asian Java Men and lots of other subspecies of Homo all oved the Old World. They all could speak and had known religion. Later on, Homo sapiens discovered river traveling and spread in all parts of the World. Homo Sapiens mixed with other kinds of descentants of Homo erectus. F.e Homo sapiens mixed with java Men and gave birth to modern East Asian people.

  • @JaayNabi Homo erectus was the first upright walking human species. He spread all over Africa and Euroasia. It is believed that because of extreme climate differences caused by Ice Age in Euroasia and strong heats and draughts in Africa Homo erectus evolved in Neandertaler in Euroasia and in Homo sapiens in Africa. These two were isolated from eachother by Sahara. If those extreme climate changes would have never happened, Homo erectus would have stayed unchanged.

  • @G6600 Do you know why Homo Erectus are considered evolutionary dead end? why did they become extinct?

  • @jurnagin "First you have to prove cosmic,Chemical,Steller,Oganic..."

No, we dont have to. Theory of evolution is about how life diversified into different species AFTER the first self replicating molecule - the first life form - came into being. How the universe came into being, or how the first life form came into being has no bearing on the theory of evolution. It stands on its own, and it will still be valid irrespective of how universe or life originated. That is how science works

  • @jurnagin FYI - stars, space, time, creation of the universe, etc - nothing to do with the theory of evolution.

What good is a complete set of explanations if they are not correct? Isnt it better to have a few correct explanations, and leave the rest as "dont know, explanation yet to be found"?

  • @G6600 Thanks that was very helpful :)

  • this is basically a summary of the BBC Walking With Cavemen series

  • @JaayNabi That is a scene of an african tribe called Bushmen from Kalahari desert in Namibia and Botswana placing in the ground an blown-out osterich's egg filled up with water and clogged with leaves of a acacia tree which are excellent natural isolaters from fungi and bacteriae which keeps the water fresh for years. In the Kalahari desert rains fall in september and this is the way Bushmen store that water throughout the whole year.
