Every summer, patients and siblings from the Children's Cancer Hospital at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center embark on a week-long adventure at Camp A.O.K. (Anderson's Older Kids). The camp is for patients, survivors and their siblings ages 13 to 18 and is funded by the Children's Art Project at M. D. Anderson. Campers enjoy a fun week full of typical camp activities such as archery, horseback riding, fishing, canoeing, swimming, basketball, tennis, arts and crafts and more. The camp is staffed by M. D. Anderson doctors, nurses and volunteers.
