Girls grass dancing - dance off - Native American Pow wow

Old footage of Native American Indian girls doing grass dancing. This was the dance off of the finalist. This is called a switch dance. Just like the video of the Native men doing a jingle switch dance, this a group of girls doing a mens grass dance. One girl is really tearin' it up. Good Job ladies!!

Native Americans didn't Migrate from any where. the Ice bridge thing is not true. my people have lived on this land many, many generations. My people have stories, songs and ceremonies that date back to hundreds of years before the white man came to this land!

@sabrinacle its not about tradition on this one... its about medicine... womens medicine isnt right for what grass dancers do... i could explain it more indepth... but i dont want to put that on a public forum... the true meanings behind the grass dance are secrets kept only by us... its just different... its not meant to be fun or interesting... its prayer

@chipmunkfan14 that is a switch dance... there are very few women that have actually been gifted the grass dance... they are very special cases... ive never heard of a straight guy jingle dancer... dunno... ~ one grass dancers input :)

okay switch dancin is all in fun thats okay but women/girls dancing grass in general its just not a thing to do theres a reason why men dance men styles and women dance womens. its not a sport where like girls can go out for football.
