so a bunch of stupid aging brothers want to quote the bible to justify their b.s. social views? How's this:

Marriage is a union between one man and one or more women (Gen. 29:17-28, II Sam. 3:2-5)

Marriage shall not impede a man's right to enjoy concubines (II Sam. 5:13, I Kings 11:3, II Chron. 11:21)

Marriage is only valid if the wife is a virgin. If she's not she may be executed (Deut. 22:13-21)

Marriage is for life. Therefore no constitution may permit divorce (Deut. 22:19, Mark 10:9)

I understand this is an older convo, but I'd like to chip in that, truthfully, any black person that voices opposition to same-sex marriage is inherently hypocritical. I'm not going to go into Kazumi's stats and logic, thought-provoking though they are, but rather point out the simple fact that for a once-oppressed minority to turn around and do the same to another minority is simply unconscionable. It's wrong when anyone does it, of course, but a race that keenly understands discrimination?

My statement was no attempt at an isult.....there IS a problem in the black community with unmarried single parents. Trust me, if I had tried to insult you it would have been loud and clear....kind of like a brick dropping on your head. EASY, that's a figure of speech, ok? I know how sensitive you are.

But first, I'm glad we agree that the black people in this video are not qualified to speak on the sanctity of marriage. Do they speak for many or most African Americans. What is it that fuels their hypocrisy?
