@G0IFI No 27mhz is barren. Nobody on CB to start a fight with anymore so they're infecting other bands now.

It is very common in Brazil. Truck drivers buy a CB radio and "open" it PLL. They think they are increasing the number of channels. Instead, they are causing interference at 10 meters.

He's not removing the film because if the bands don't improve he's taking it back to the shop and buying a cb radio again !!

Same problem in USA from Mexico mostly. It is all these so called 10 m radios being sold that are easily modded for 27 and 28 Mhz. They use the dual banders too QRM ing 12 m now.Where's the enforcement? It is going to get alot worst too with sunspots rising. Many use these X-Force, RM Italy, Davemades, Gatorbuilts, Texas Stars, etc to boost outputs too!

@calcvids it doesnt matter if we dont use the band during minimum activity..the fact is that's ILEGAL!! if you hear it ..report it! the Russian authorities are monitoring their 10m pirate problem and will come down hard on those (Taxi Drivers)that are doing this. It need nipped in the bud now!
