Everything is alright except what is the critereon behind funding! China cannot allow funding because it will lead to creating political cults and crime could increase! You must read about the short lived hari krishna movements and why Rajneesh and other gurus were charged .

I absolutely agree with you. Organizations that deceive and exploit it's members as well as the people and that worship their leaders should be outlawed in China.

Okay, you have the right to appeal. Maybe you are even morally right. But if you want to raise an appeal in the appeal's office, why go there with 10.000 people? And

Why surround the most politically charged building in the whole of China? You know that will get you in trouble.

If you say that this is an idea form your morning practice on the same day, that is simply a lie. It takes much more planning to mobilize a crowd like that. I just cannot believe this not a political organisation.

dozents of people got arrested for no apparent reason. So their friends went to the police to get them free. But the police told them the order came from Baijing and that they would have to go to the central appeals office. With 100 million practitioners, 10.000 actually isn't a big number. And they didn't go to the Government headquarters - the police directed them there. When the persecution started, the ammount people going to Beijing was WAY higher - but of course so was the amount of police

It's still not clear why the intense persecution of Falun Gong. It is curious indeed.

God save the US Constitution from the current thugs in office there lest it become another PRC. As an American, I am "proud" so to speak of all the religious choices whether far out or mainstream, including Falun gong.

Oh i can talk a bit about that. Mr Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong separated himself from the China Qigong Research Institute. This happened because they wanted the Falun Gong practice to be like teachers who charge money and they have students and so on. Bu thats not the format of Falun Gong practice, it has always been free of charge and free to practice, with no ranks or teachers or "enrollment" and such other things. (Continues on next comment)

Because, if you appeal with one person, nothing gets done. They didn't riot, or disrupt anything. They just stood and waited. If the CCP is so great, why were there only 60 million CCP members and over 70 million Falun Gong Practitioners? Why is Falun Gong practiced in 40+ countries world wide? How come there has never been any self-immolations, or incidents of Falun Gong practitioners going insane in any of these countries, for the last 10 years? Simple. The CCP is EVIL and they lie. NO YOU DID NOT! Stop bullshiting and deviating the truth by ways of lying about a made up experience. Fa lun gong is not tai, it is not yogo, it is NOT merely a physical exercise in which you've falsely claimed. If you've studied Fa Lun gong, you would know that it mutually harmonise the practice of religion (free of political and corrupted religious dogma) and science by teaching the natural characteristic of the universe (Truth, Compassion Forebearance).

Falung Gong was really a big movement with a lot of different people (maybe still is). Even some Communist Party members practiced Falun Gong. Sure somebody in that movement knew from informal sources why the Chinese government was arresting some of them.

With the action at the Zhongnanhai Falun Gong went out to claim its right to exist as a movement. They deserve it in my opinion, but they could have known this action would politicize and thus deligitimize them. Were they really just clumsy?
